Church History

Zoe   Baptist   Church   began   as   a   small   bible   study   at   Pastor   Jones parent’s   home   in   1994.   The   late   Mr.   Bobby   L.   Jones   &   Mrs.   Lexie M. Jones. Many   family   and   close   friends   participated   in   the   classes.   In   the spring   of   1995,   we   all   felt   a   calling   of   church   planting.   In   March   of the   same   year,   we   were   chartered   by   the   state   of   Ga   as   New   Life Community Baptist Church. The   first   service   was   held   in   April   1995   at   the   home   of   Pastor Jones.    2463    Northmill    Ln    Lithonia,    Ga.    After    much    prayer    and fasting   1   year   and   8   months   later   the   Lord   blessed   us   with   a Church facility at 2131 Snapfinger Rd Decatur, Ga. After   many   years   of   service   and   growth.   The   Church   felt   we   had outgrown   our   facility.   We   all   fasted   and   prayed   for   a   larger   Church facility.   The   Lord   blessed   us   in   the   fall   of   2006   with   our   current location and renamed the church to Zoe Baptist Church. To God be the glory for great things He has done.
